Protects and promotes
HydroTac® is a wound foam dressing with a gas-permeable, waterproof and bacteria-proof cover film on one side, and net-shaped hydrogel on the other.
For moist wounds, the exudate is absorbed by HydroTac®’s foam layer. On the other hand, dry wounds are kept moist by HydroTac®’s moisture-release hydrogel layer.
Rapid wound cleansing and sustained epithelialization in two simple steps
The success of HydroTherapy is derived from two Hydro-Responsive Wound Dressings (HRWD®) which perfectly complement one another – each with its own unique mode of action, delivering rapid cleansing, early granulation tissue formation, epithelialisation while maintaining a balanced level of moisture at all phases of wound progression – to support effective wound healing. 1
Effective cleansing activates the wound so that granulation can start. Having an optimal moist wound environment protects and promotes sustained epithelialization.
HydroTac® gel technology facilitates epithelialization for
faster wound healing
HydroTac® gel technology supports epithelial wound closure by accelerating the activity of epithelial cells in the wound. Due to its innovative AquaClear Gel technology, HydroTac® boosts the concentration of growth factors, stimulates epithelialization, and actively releases moisture for faster wound healing. 2
- Faster epithelial wound closure reduces the risk of infection 3
- Up to three times higher concentration of growth factors with
AquaClear Gel 4
- Safe and atraumatic dressing changes 6
- Active moisture release 6, 7, 8
- Optimal absorption of excess wound exudate 6
- Proven faster wound closure with HydroTac® gel technology versus passive silicone 5
AquaClear Gel Technology:
Faster epithelialization for successful
epithelial wound closure 5
Finer gel structure
Tiny holes prevent sticking and enable absorption of excess exudate
Wider gel surface
For improved moisture release and faster epithelial wound closure
Thicker gel formula
For ideal wound moisture management
Wound therapy with perfectly complementing products
HydroTherapy is a new approach to efficient wound healing. All preparations work perfectly well together so even the most hard-to-heal wounds can be treated.
The colour-coding system makes HydroTherapy preparations easy to use and understand.
All preparations are available in various shapes and sizes
The range of shapes and sizes of HydroTherapy’s wound preparations are suitable for use on a wide variety of wounds.
HydroClean® plus is available in two variations, including HydroClean® plus cavity for deep and fissured wounds.
HydroTac® is available in the Comfort variety with a self-adhesive border that makes it possible for patients to shower with the dressing on.
HydroTherapy makes it simple and easy for doctors to treat majority of patients’ wounds.
